Yesterday, after no response to my email, I decide to call them. I recognize her voice immediately when she answers the phone. I say “I am calling to check on a refund for an incorrect order from Saturday. I was told that my debit card would be credited but there has been no credit to my account so I just wanted to check on the status.” I hear a “click” and then silence. Was I put on hold? Was I being transferred? NOPE! SHE HUNG UP ON ME! People, I can’t make up this kinda crazy. Seriously. Here is a screenshot of my first and SECOND call that went to voicemail. I left a message saying I GUESS YOU REMEMBER ME SINCE YOU HUNG UP ON ME! I should have asked if she rolled her eyes when she heard my voice. And then I would like to ask how old she is . . . TWELVE?? Wait, that may insult some 12-year-olds.

On 9/30 Antique Rose on 1488 messed up my order for corsages for a homecoming dance that evening. Mistakes happen but being rude about it and blaming ME and then ROLLING YOUR EYES at me NEVER should. It was not a little mistake either. COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of what I wanted!! Because she was SO rude about fixing it, I got so angry that I cried. Yeah, it was THAT bad. I told her to give me my money back and she acted RELIEVED to get me out of her hair!! I run in a panic to HEB and the sweet groovy florist calmed me down, took my order and said it would be ready by 4. THANK YOU HEB!!!! You saved Homecoming!!!
I proceed to file a claim with my bank who credited my account and started a claim on my behalf.
Now, 3 days later, there is no refund to my account from Antique Rose so I send them an email.
I ordered a corsage for my son's girlfriend and it is gorgeous!!! It's exactly what I wanted!
If I could give negative stars, I would.

I am now writing this post to tell everyone about this debacle. I gave this business several chances to do the right thing and Antique Rose Florist on 1488 just refused to make a bad situation better. So I write this not as a warning against making mistakes. But as a word of advice and caution to ALL people - mistakes happen. To err is human and to forgive is divine. It is ALL about how we handle mistakes. I tried to turn the other cheek on Saturday. I turned the other cheek for three days with no refund. I turned the other cheek a fourth day with no response to emails and being hung up on. So on the FIFTH day I write this review and will also provide it to the BBB, Yelp, and Google. I don’t WANT to write bad reviews. I don’t WANT to send warnings of unethical behavior. But, more than anything, I don’t want anyone else to experience what I (and others before me) have already experienced. If you would have treated me with the same kindness you had when TAKING my money instead of the rudeness I experienced in returning it this NEVER would have been written. You forced my hand. Treat the next unhappy customer better or there will be less and less customers to roll your eyes at.
If you are going anywhere else for your flowers, it's time to give this place a try!
I have ordered everything from funeral flowers to homecoming mums, graduation, and Mother's Day. ALWAYS 100% satisfied, every time. The owner, Candace, is friendly and well-informed, and provides insightful recommendations for timelessly classy arrangements. There other employees in the shop are courteous and very efficient. Lots of great options and cute gifts for any occasion you could ever imagine!

Totally ruined my friends order for homecoming. Not only that but when she asked them to correct it nicely, the owner yelled at her and made her cry. This is in the first time this is happened just read her Facebook reviews. And then when you complain on Facebook about her service, she tries to delete your comments. Very poor customer service and lack of professionalism. Stay away go someplace else.
If you like being hung up on, having eyes rolled at you, rude and condescending customer service then this is the florist for YOU!!
I then sent a FB message to the business asking whether they intend to honor their word about the refund. I have waited well over 24 hours before this post and still nothing. So now I am releasing my fury.
